Computer Security Basics Seminar
With Robert Trevellyan

Many small business owners spend all of their time running their own business, which may not leave them much time to learn a few things about computer security. That is why the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a tech topics seminar on Computer Security Basics with Robert Trevellyan on January 28.

The seminar will take place at Lippera’s at the Chatham House. Registration begins at 7:30am, followed by the program from 8:00-9:15am.

Trevellyan, who is with Trevellyan.biz in Chatham, will speak about Computer Security Basics for individuals and small business owners who rely on their computer and are concerned about security, viruses and malware. Topics will include setting up a firewall, managing user accounts and passwords, browser configuration and taking advantage of free software updates. Come and learn about security, viruses and malware for yourself or your small business.
