Client Rights

You have the right:

1. To expect me to learn about your business
2. To be treated with respect
3. To be presented with alternatives. I consider myself to be a team member, not just an order taker. You should expect to be presented with multiple ideas for each project and tools for a better solution. We will then work together to fine tune the end product.
4. To change your requirements for the project. Change is a constant in business and I will work with flexibility in mind. Change can cause disruption and delays if not managed properly. I will fully explain the ramifications of the change to the project.
5. To expect that information you provide regarding your business is kept confidential

Client Responsibilities

A successful project is one where there is clear communication and clearly stated goals. In order for me to do the best job for you, there are responsibilities that you assume as a client.
 
You have the responsibility for:

1. Educating me about your business. For me to provide the best solution possible I must know how your business operates.
2. Participation and availability. Your time is precious and I want to be as efficient as I can be. For this I need access to a contact in your company with the knowledge to answer questions, get resources and facilitate the project.
3. Being specific. The more specific you can be, the more likely I am to be successful in creating what you require and in exceeding your expectations. This includes specificity about your needs, goals, budgets and price ranges.
4. Following through. Rates and associated costs will be explained before any work begins. Once a project that is given the go-ahead, billing begins. If the project is cancelled midstream, a fee will be charged for work done to that point.
5. Facilitating payment for services. Just as is the case for your company, I depend on my clients to pay all approved expenditures within the terms of acceptance and requirements for payment.
